GIMA Knowledge Exchange

GIMA deliver industry specific workshops and skills based training for members and non members.  Building on the success of the Knowledge Exchange Workshops developed with our training partners we offer a range workshops designed with our industry and members in mind.

GIMA’s Knowledge Exchange Programme is set to return in October, this time presenting five special one-day sessions — focusing on Sales Territory Planning, Intermediate+ Microsoft Excel, Presentation Skills, Finance for Non-finance Managers, and Key Account Management — open to both GIMA members and non-members.  Lunch and refreshments are included in the daily rate.  Price, location and timings are available to download or view below.

The workshop is designed to enable delegates to differentiate between 'Account Management' and 'Key or Strategic Account Management'.  The workshop will encourage attendees to utilise a range of skills to maintain and develop relationships with customers to expand the revenue and worth of the accounts they manage, whilst also focusing on ways to retain and defend the accounts from competitors.

30th October 2018 - Intermediate+ Microsoft Excel 

A one day skills workshop for users who regularly work with complex excel spreadsheets.  Users will learn how to manipulate complex data sets with ease and present data in a range of charts to make it easier to spot trends or monitor costs.  This workshop will help users advance their skill set by learning to work with advanced formulas and lists as well as working with SPARKLINES and PivotTable skills.

11th April 2018 - Sales Territory Planning 

Advice and top tips on the day will help sales leaders to implement new techniques that will help them to prioritise tasks and better plan their time, both on the road and in the office. A ‘consultative sales’ approach will also be explained, demonstrating to participants the ways that they can develop relationships with existing and potential customers, whilst also increasing link, cross and up-sale opportunities.

Created in association with Cedar Associates, the workshop will help participants to make better use of sales territory plans to create a more effective sales structure.
