GIMA Awards 2015 Gala Evening Photos
This year’s event returned to the Celtic Manor Resort in South Wales where just under 400 guests enjoyed a fantastic evening, hosted by a very lively Rufus Hound.
Burgon & Ball were announced as winners of the Sword of Excellence for a second year running, this time with their best selling Weed Slice. Having won two of the product categories and two marketing awards, their winning entry into the Garden Tools, Machinery and Implements was deemed the overall winner by this year’s panel of judges.

Smart Garden Products were awarded the GCA Supplier of the Year Award, and the Gardenex & Petquip Export Achievement Award was handed out to two companies – Eden Halls Greenhouses & Beco Pets. For full details of all the winners and finalists follow this link .
GIMA Awards Raffle Raised just under £4,000 for Greenfingers
With generous donations from Karcher all the guests at the dinner had the chance of taking away a Window Vac, plus a chance to win a share of £1,000 John Lewis Voucher kindly donated by MorePeople. Through theirs and the guests generosity we raised a whopping £3,142, which after gift aid, will be just under £4,000. Thank you to everyone who donated on the night.
This year’s Garden Releaf Day total was also revealed to the industry at the Gala Dinner. Breaking all previous records, over £95,000 was raised as part of this year’s event, taking the total raised since its inception four years ago to £270,000
